Overview

As children, the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" was taught to us to help us recognise our body parts and to give us a sense of autonomy over them. Equipped with names for them, we used them to dance and revelled in our ability to move them freely. But as we grew up, we slowly realised that our bodies were apparently not entirely ours to control.
