We are proud to unveil Kelana is our contemporary presentation for Art Jakarta 2024 showcasing nine contemporary Indonesian artists: Emte, Eric Pradana, Hendra Priyadhani, Irene Febry, Kurt D. Peterson, Sarita Ibnoe, TEMPA, and Wanti Amelia.
Humans are dynamic creatures. As we navigate the journey of life, we encounter fresh faces, new experiences, and sometimes unexpected challenges. Every encounter, whether a blessing or a tribulation, adds depth to our lived experiences and contributes to the mosaic of our lives. The artworks of Kelana reflect these varied facets of a lifetime.
Each artwork illustrates the moments of joy, struggle, and growth that we all face, filtered through the individually unique perspectives of each artist. They render every twist and turn significant, and invite us to reflect on the paths we have tread thus far.
Kelana celebrates the ups and downs we all face in life, reminding us that each phase, each encounter, and each lesson is an integral part of our journey.
